Over the coming weeks I’ll be starting work helping FieldTrip Supplies build and kit out an awesome Suzuki Jimmy Camper that you can hire in the UK. Right now the photos on the website are of my camper but they’ll soon be replaced with their ALL NEW and updated Suzuki Jimny camper.
It’s an exciting project to be involved in as I’ve learned a lot over the last 3 years experimenting with my own Jimmy Camper set up. Testing dozens of products and even making many of my own to solve problems and ensure the camping experience is first class.
They’re a small, enjoyable car to drive, putting an unending smile on your face. With the right thinking and planning they are also ultra comfortable and capable as a camper. A true go anywhere vehicle and always delivers an adventure and turns a few heads too ๐
New channel sponsor and YouTube Build series
Fieldtrip Supplies have decided to sponsor Geordie Jimny meaning I get the chance to spend more time creating content for you. Having turned down dozens of sponsorship opportunities, trusting that one would appear that was a good fit and not a sell out!
I can’t think of a more symbiotic relationship than working with FieldTrip Supplies. They’re committed to helping people enjoy outdoor adventures in the UK, love what I love and are a big fan of the Jimny. Not to mention the Defender, they’ve a beautiful classic defender for hire in their growing fleet.
What’s more, we’ll be documenting the build on a YouTube series featured on my channel. What kit gets installed and why it’s been chosen. How we balance usability and space and what we can improve upon over my build.
Don’t forget to subscribe to the Geordie Jimny YouTube channel to not miss it and while you’re there maybe check out some of my recent camping videos if you’re into that kind of thing! Been having fun back out there after a long hiatus due to DIY projects.

That’s all for now and as ever I hope you’re fit and well, getting outdoors and enjoying a few sunsets and sunrises.
Cheers,
Paul
Hi Paul that’s a great concept, and a feather in the cap for the North East of UK.

David
